The first monograph by the Philadelphia-based photographer, whose work has already graced the Whitney Biennial, among other venues of recognition. The images here are of both Philadelphia - its marginalized people and places on the fringe of sciety - taken up close and in a personal style that evokes the spirit of Diane Arbus, and pictures of the 'America of the les traveled road' that seem to take William Eggleston - witha smattering of Ed Ruscha - for a very poetic influence.
